2004 Chardonnay
"Medium bodied and silky, this nicely balanced white offers up nuances of ripe melon, honey and hints of toasty oak and spice. It’s attractively priced and should be a nice match for sea bass or roast chicken." - Beppi Crosariol, Globe and Mail, April 1, 2006

"This wine actually shows some of the cool restraint and precision that characterizes Mike Weir himself. Mild but complex, well integrated mineral, cashew and pear aromas stay focused on the finish. It’s mid-weight, balanced and dry with firm acidity, good wood spice and dried fruit on the finish. Fairly delivered for the price." - David Lawrason, Wine Access Magazine, February 2006

2005 Chardonnay
Best White Wine of Show - Cellars of the World, International Wine Competition, Ottawa

Gold: Best Dry White Wine of Show - Cellars of the World, International Wine Competition,Ottawa

Gold: Best Chardonnay $12.99 - $19.99 - Cellars of the World, International Wine Competition, Ottawa

2006 Chardonnay
Bronze Medal - Canadian WineAwards, 2007

"This is a fresh and fragrant model of Chardonnay, with aromas that suggest pear and lemon zest with delicate floral notes. The medium-bodied palate is bright and balanced. Look for apple and citrus flavours that are rounded out by sweetoak notes (vanilla and butterscotch). Excellent value." - Four out of Five Stars, Chris Waters, Waters on Wine, October 2007
2006 Sauvignon Blanc
Judge’s Choice, Best Value Sauvignon Blanc - International Value Wine Awards, 2007

Bronze Medal - Canadian Wine Awards, 2007

"…impressive and a great, crisp choice for salads, steamed asparagus and a variety of cheeses. Light-bodied, plump and juicy with peach and gooseberry flavours, this white shows remarkable complexity for the money." - Beppi Crosariol,The Globe and Mail, April 14, 2007

“The debut Weir Sauvignon Blanc puts its focus on freshness and tropical fruit character. This has much more forward, juicy ripe fruit than the tight and zesty Sauvignon Blancs winemakers Rob Power and Craig McDonald create while wearing their Creekside hats. It’s nice to see distinct "house styles" developing for each estate." - Christopher Waters, Vines Magazine. May/June 2007
2006 Pinot Gris
"Golfer Mike Weir’s winery is opening soon, but Creekside is doing great stuff for him now. The nose shows spicy pear, peach and lime accents. The flavours are equally enticing, with smoky citrus, lime and pear lingering nicely." - Score: 89/100, Gordon Stimmell, Toronto Star, Sept 15/2007
